Aeroplane book

How do you build an aeroplane when you’ve only got one wing? is a book I wrote and illustrated while my son was a baby. It is about two kids having to use their creativity to solve a problem.

This is my second book, my first book How Absurd is going to be republished in 2019. I have four manuscripts in the pipeline, with one book a year planned for the next few years. Stay tuned….

Instagram post 2160098386255527702_1295721701 Large watercolour/ink drawings are on the go in the studio. I’ve been moving away from using acrylics and varnishes and towards using ink and paper. I’m loving working on paper again, not only because it shifts my reliance on plastics (acrylics) in the studio but also cause I’m digging that super matt look and texture of paper. I look forward to showing these works somewhere when they are done.
Instagram post 2144776677780423189_1295721701 Happy Inktober!
As part of inktober this year I want to create a body of work reimagining Little Red Riding Hood.
In this sketch I’ve got little red riding hood as a little superhero firefighter (based on my 3 year old) and the wolf as a baking obsessed parental figure (possibly based on me) :) I don’t normally share my sketchy sketches, but I’ve been unwell this month and I’m still a bit under the weather....so sketchy sketches it is :) #inktober #sketchysketches
