Karma Cola

Karma Cola is a great tasting fair trade drink born in New Zealand. The clever folks at Karma Cola teamed up with me and Special Group to create some feel good imagery. Karma Cola’s original recipe combines cola nut from the Boma village in Sierra Leone with vanilla bean grown by the Forest Garden Growers […]

Aeroplane book

How do you build an aeroplane when you’ve only got one wing? is a book I wrote and illustrated while my son was a baby. It is about two kids having to use their creativity to solve a problem. This is my second book, my first book How Absurd is going to be republished in […]

Wishbone Bike Bells

Wishbone Design Studio make great bikes for kids. These bike bells are part of an Endangered Species edition. With seven designs to choose from, they make a colourful edition to any bike. People

How do I draw people? I’m always mixing this up. I like the more graphic and simple ways to stylise a person. But sometimes adding a bit of humor and personality can be fun too.

Maps

What can I say….I like maps. I like drawing maps. These were for some art prints for kids.

Home is where the cat is

This is a little quirky image that represents home to me. I think Gareth Morgan would like to live here too.

Fruity Slices

This is a spray can painting of fruit. The stencils are made up of things I found around the house. A train track, a sink plug, kitchen utensils, a doily – they all become ways to add texture.

Starship Hospital Playroom

This playroom is in the emergency department at Starship Hospital. The room has a nautical theme based on a story by Tessa Duder. The walls are interactive and the ceiling is filled with hanging fish mobiles. We designed, painted and built the play room over a three month period. Our team was made up of […]

Rhythm and Vines

I painted these totems for Rhythm and Vines alongside my buddy Cinzah. The totems were then driven off in a green combi van to their new home.

Auckland Philharmonic

The flute and the violin are two instruments I know well. I learnt how to play both as a child and have had a fondness for them ever since. This was a fun job. I got to illustrate my two favourite instruments for the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
